The tasks of Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist will be as follows:
a. Assist the Program Coordinator in the monitoring and evaluation of the Project program including the sub-program under project;
b. Assist the implementation of the project monitoring and evaluation mechanism;
c. Work closely with the IT/Database Specialist to provide input on the automated computerized monitoring and reporting system for the project related activity
e. Assist the relevant working group in preparation of monitoring and evaluation reports. Monitor implementation and provide support in institutional coordination areas;
d. Assist in the provision of evaluation report on all projects and activities under project and recommend ways to improve the performance of sub-standard deliverables;
Required Qualifications and Experience
The Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist is expected to possess the following task specific experience and capabilities:
a. Bachelor (S1) degree in Engineering or Management with at least 3 years of relevant experience; an additional master's degree (S-2) in relevant field will be an advantage;
b. At least 1 year experience in public sector projects in Indonesia;
c. Having knowledge of the project planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation
d. Good knowledge of Indonesia's government structure and budgetary procedures, particularly that related to the development loan and aid;
e. Sound English language capability (written and spoken) and report writing skills
f. Proven ability to work independently with limited supervision and to operate effectively in a team environment
