One Little Known Technique You Can Use TODAY to Powerfully Persuade People
By George Hutton
There is a secret trick to communication that is only known to a few. Actually, it's not a secret. Those that know it by name can surely find several web sites freely offering this method. But because it's simple to learn and easy to use, it' s tough for people to make money off of it. So there isn't a lot of incentive to advertise this. Those who know what it is, and how to use this method, can easily use it to make more money, have more sex, and assert themselves with more power and influence on their environment. It was discovered, perhaps by accident by a guy named Milton Erickson. He was a medical doctor who created a new form of "conversational" hypnosis. He was a therapist, not a salesperson or a covert seducer. People would come to him with a problem, and he would tell them some seemingly long winded, unrelated, and sometimes incoherent story. The wonderful thing about Dr. Erickson, was that after he'd finished telling them some random story, their problem was cured. For good. No need for several years lying on the couch regurgitating old hurts and wounds from their childhood. A simple story would fix their problem.
Dr. Erickson used many, many techniques, which require lots of practice. I will only teach you one of them here, but it is very powerful. When used correctly, it is like a laser guided suggestion into somebody's brain, effectively implanting your suggestions into their brain.
It's called an embedded command, or an embedded suggestion. It is a short sentence, with verb phrase in the imperative voice hidden in the middle. The imperative is a command phrase. Like "Sit down." or "Give me your money." It starts out with the simple present tense of the verb. Other examples are "Find Happiness." "Love your neighbor." "Make more money."
The way to use them properly is to put them in the middle of a sentence, and then say them with a slightly different voice tone than the rest of the sentence. It also helps to pause a little bit before and after the statement. So if we take one of the examples from above, "Give me your money," and put it in a sentence, it can sound like this:
"So I don't know if you can realize what will happen if you (pause) give me your money (pause) because I want you to decide just how much you'll benefit from that."
Or, "Find happiness" can become:
"One of the ways you can (pause) find happiness (pause) is to look around you and see the wonderful things that you haven't noticed before."
When you do this, although it feels strange at first, almost nobody will know what you are doing. And if you put three or four of these in the space of a few minutes, you will effectively be telling them exactly what to do without them knowing it.
Be careful, though. I'm a big believer in karma, and if you misuse these for your own short-term gain, at the expense of others, it will eventually catch up with you.
Try it, have fun and come on over to my blog and let us know what you think. I have many more articles that can help you be more resourceful. Many others have read my blog and realized that you can easily use it to improve your life. Or if you like you can watch my videos, and see this technique in use.
