One Very Powerful Technique to Reaching Your Goal
By Paul Ryder
In today's society everybody sets goals and everybody wants to reach high levels of success, some will cram themselves into fitness clubs, go running, set up business or travel the world, but shockingly statistics say that only 10% of people who set goals ever reach the level they desire and even more shockingly only 5% of those people ever keep their results long enough to grow through them and achieve even higher gains.
So why do so many people try their best and never get what they desire?
To achieve any goal, it comes down to the "emotional level" which it is set at. If a goal is only set on a level which their mind can justify then there is no real "buying reason" because people do not buy "logical reasons" they buy "emotional reasons"
Let me introduce to you two characters who I use in my workshops
They are called Ester "Emotionally sold" (ES) and Lester, "Logically sold" (LS)
Regardless of what people may actually think they want the human brain has a specific drive in which it accesses in order to motivate a person into long term action to overcome obstacles, if the drive is not in place the motivation will start to weaken when the person faces challenges.
Lester is the king of logic and will look for all the reasons to do something from a "realistic" point of view, such as lose weight, get fit or make money and although these may seem like motivating reasons they are weak in comparison to the real and inner drive created by Ester.
Ester has access to the deep inner memory of what our survival instinct is, to find this we have to go within as it were and look at what we really want from this life rather than what we think we want. When I ask my clients this question they usually use words like love, power, respect, friends, freedom and happiness.
These are the emotions that the mind is trying to achieve by doing the action, in the instant of going to the fitness studio is it the person is trying to lose weight? Or feel more desirable by having an attractive shape? Is the person setting up a business to make money or is it to experience the feeling of freedom by having power over their money?
To become motivated on the path to any goal it is essential that we look within at the core desire of what we want, what is underneath emotionally rather than logically. This may take more effort in the initial stages but feel free to have a look at some of the testimonials on the website and see the result they have achieved.

Key to Achieving Goals is Accountability
By Lori Lowe
I have always used planners and to-do lists, I arrive promptly for meetings and I don't miss deadlines for clients. However, with some of my personal projects, I was having difficulty making time to make them a reality. I've recently changed that, and I wanted to share a useful strategy.
If your boss tells you that a report is needed tomorrow that will affect your job performance, you make time to complete it. If your child is standing nearby asking repeatedly for a snack, you will eventually give in. But that list on your desk of things that only you know about is not likely to get done.
A few months ago, I shared with a friend that I was struggling to make time for writing my book. She also had a project that was falling by the way side but was very important to her. So, we decided to become accountability partners. Basically, it's someone you have to go back to and report your progress on a regular basis. You would be embarrassed if you say you didn't make time for something you claim was important to you.
We write monthly, specific, manageable goals and share them at the beginning of each month. At the end of the month, we report on progress made on each step or goal, and we share our next month goals. We discuss obstacles, share occasional updates and keep one another updated. The result has been tremendous, with both of us completing far more than we had been in previous months.
Tips: Ideally, this partner should not be a spouse or best friend. It should be someone whose opinion you respect and with whom you'd be a little embarrassed if you look lazy. Also, your goals should really be important to you. You will find time and energy if it's something you truly want to accomplish, and not just busy work.
So, find a partner and get moving!

How to Determine What Motivates You
By Markus Taylor
Self-motivation often depends on our own individual circumstances, and expectations. In an era of economic change, many people may feel disappointed and lack motivation, except on a survival level. Whilst others are determined to see this change through and beat the change.
Determining what motivates you, could make the difference by facing any difficult changes with the strength to continue or sit back and become lethargic and fatalistic about the situation you are personally facing.
So How do you determine what Motivates You?
1. Sit back, relax and empty your mind about any negative thoughts. Being clear headed is one way to approach deciding what motivates you......
2. Write down on two pieces of paper or on word, one section on what motivates you personally, and one on what elements do not motivate you.
3. Once that's finished you have a complete list of the real factors that both motivate and make you lose motivation.
4. Analyze the points you have written down, and see if there is any action you can take to change the situation.
5. Work on erasing the factors that are not motivating you, and fixing the factors that really motivate you.
Often we find that our motivation has changed because of circumstances, and we are forced into situations we dislike; like a job we dislike, or a partner we do not really love, even a place we do not like living in.Finding a way to solve these problems could lead to success, simply because perhaps a change in career could motivate you to become a success, or even a change in the area we live in.
A Motivational chart often clears problems, and helps us move on towards a better life, and can even solve the problems we often face with new resolve.
