Perception, the Economy and Turning it Around
By Leon Cautillo
You may not be able to directly affect the banks releasing moneys for construction loans, but you can manage your emotions and your feelings about it all. You can not see your feelings and emotions, they are very real however, they are energy fields stirring about just below the surface so to speak based on how you perceive reality to be. This article is intended to create a larger crack in the mass perception of things and the way we commonly resist unwanted circumstances and situations. What causes the feelings and emotions that arise in the body are the chemicals produced in the brain. There are an amazing 100,000 chemicals being produced by the brain every second and sent to the cells of the body. What control do you think you have over that? Two of my favorite scientists who lead the way in biological and brain research are Dr. Bruce Lipton, Ph.D., author of Biology of Belief and Dr Joe Dispenza, D.C., author of Evolve Your Brain, have provided fascinating explanation on the miracle body we possess, or should I say possesses us. After all we do seem to be at the effect of our emotions and feeling much of the time.
More importantly to this conversation is the importance of understanding that the interpretations we make and we are doing it at rates that are mind boggling, have the brain react according to how it has learned to survive. Our senses are gathering data which is being interpreted at a rate of 400 billion pieces of data per second. This is what we call the subconscious intelligence and by contrast the conscious self only about 2000 pieces per second. Good thing we don't have to consciously manage our heart and nervous system and all the other ones for that matter. Now survival has many levels. You will instinctively run from danger if you see an angry dog; but you will just as importantly seek to avoid an embarrassing scene rather than welcoming it. The reaction to survive an unwanted experience is instinctual, where it is interpreted as physical or life threatening. Our societal behavior was learned based on the conclusions made early on in life.
Reality, the appearance of things, is intrinsically connected to the energies which give rise to the appearance. Without them coming to the vortex of what is called now", you would neither see nor experience anything. Let's move on.
If you read a lot, especially about the state of the economy, you will have likely come across the phrase, 'it is all perception'. That we react to things based on our perception of what has happened, what is happening and what is likely to happen. All interpretation is based on what we've concluded to be so, and reactivated by what we read, hear, see and how we feel. We learn to expect it to be as we think and we always get what we expect. And when we don't, it is the exception proving the rule.
The economic state in the US will turn itself around eventually. And at the point of where we are today, that turnaround will take an additional month or an additional year depending on what the overall perception of the masses might be.
Many of you might be too young to remember the oil crisis in the early seventies, the perception that there was a shortage of oil caused people to behave differently in a very short period of time. That perception developed based on what they heard and what they saw. News commentators spoke of the real shortage, you saw people fighting at the gas stations over the last gallon and who can forget the long lines around the block waiting to fill up their tank. Remember the even and odd day schedule and those gas stations with signs, 'No Gas'? Was the perception that there was a shortage real? Was there a gas shortage that warranted this level of reaction?
The fact is the normal course of distribution from the tanks buried in the ground at your local gas stations did dry up but that was only because throughout the country every car and truck tank and container a person owned was filled to the brim. They wanted to 'be prepared' to 'survive' hence station tanks ran empty and caused the perception that it was true that there was a gas shortage. Now that is one of my favorite examples of the power of perception but at a more fundamental level, have you ever experienced or seen what you thought was your lover with another person and you felt the rise in temperature in your body only to discover it wasn't your lover at all. Your perception that it was sent signals to the brain which in turn produced chemicals sent to every cell in your body and the rush seemed almost immediate. The reaction was an inaccurate interpretation.
There are goods people desire to have, and there are goods people have and are eager to sell. There is enough work to be done in this country alone to keep people employed for decades to come. There are developers wanting to build more homes and there is a shortage of housing. The world gross product is over 70 trillion dollars.
Energy and the appearance of things (what we call reality) are inseparable; you can not have one without the other. Just as the flower does not precede the seed into existence neither does our everyday reality. The question is what feelings and emotions precede a flourishing economy? You were wondering when I'd be connecting this to the present state of the economy and what you can do to lean on the pendulum in such a manner as to be a cause for a quick change in perception. You must be a space of no resistance for the free flow of exchange, in all its forms. And though this may be difficult for you, there is one place to begin. Deliberately choose to be happy.
Dale Carnegie would have said to maintain a positive outlook and I wouldn't disagree with that. But the single most powerful thing you can be is a beacon for happiness and joy. Because that is a space which points you in the direction you are wanting yourself and others to look. Look for the evidence for what you are wanting to see. Be that for others. Keep looking for at least a bit of something to be grateful for and appreciative of. There is energy without the appearance but never the appearance without energy. Un-clutch your grip on conflicting emotions, do your best to release and let them go. Free flow is rapidly approaching.

Techniques to Help Control Your Emotions
By Joy Winning
You hear all the time about techniques to grow a business, generate leads, and the like, but what is it that Americans struggle with more than almost anything else? The Power to Focus and Control Their Emotions.
During a time of difficulty the power to focus the mind is essential, as is the importance of knowing how to calm the emotions. But what if you don't have that talent? What is the best way to reclaim you composure? Especially if you feel sick you are so afraid of what might happen next.
Most people's minds leap about like a dragonfly, flitting about every few seconds. Millions of persons suffer from anxiety, fear, depression, etc. and they suffer because they give their attention away. You may have given prolonged attention to a particular object (tv, media, fears, lack of positive things to focus upon, etc.) creating multiple distractions within your and your emotions are the barometer of where your focus has gone.
The mind is weakened by distractions and does not like confusion. Confusion creates discomfort and discomfort leads to emotionalism.
Did ever attempt to keep your mind absolutely quiet for a minute? It might sound offensive to say that it is actually fairly easy to quiet the mind, if you have the right tools to use. But, there must be a willingness to take control of where you place your focus.
First let me prove you actually can take control of your mind, stay focused and learn to control your emotions. But you have to actively do it, no one, not even your analyst can control your mind for you.
1. What was the worst thing you heard today? How does it make you feel when you think about it?
2. April 15th is just days away, if your taxes are already done, with a refund on the way, how does that make you feel?
3. On the wedding day of your best friend, what was the funniest thing that happened at the reception?
Science has repeatedly proven our neuropeptides, called by some the Molecules of Emotions, are affected by what we focus on. So why do millions of people focus on the worst? Because it appears more exciting to be distracted than to quietly take some time for learn to do something different. No one else is doing it so why should we?
Because it gives you true power to be able to quiet the mind. Doesn't take a lot of work, and can be incredibly rewarding. So, how do you do it?
* Sit in a safe place where you can concentrate for 30-45 seconds. Sit up straight and breathe in slowly and deeply. Exhale your breath and repeat 3 times.
* Look at a thing, directly in front of you. Concentrate on it for 10-12 seconds. How would you describe it to a blind person?
* Now look at one thing directly above you. Again concentrate on it for 10-12 seconds. How would you describe this to a blind person? The details are very important.
* Finally look down. Again concentrate on it for 10-12 seconds. How would you describe this to a blind person? The details are essential to focus on.
Congratulations, for the last 45 seconds you successfully controlled your own mind and your body (assuming you did that brief exercise). Now all we have to do is expand your awareness of the control you actually have. If you try this several times a day you will begin to notice a shift.
Next, breathe in deeply, hold your breath gently for the count of 5, then breathe out all the air in your lungs and hold for the count of 3. Each time you start to feel your emotions start to well up take a deep breath. Your breath is one of the most powerful ways to calm your body. Motion = emotion and when you are breathing high and shallow in your chest, you have very little control.
If this is something you would like to learn more about, or you find this article interesting, let me know and I will provide more ideas and techniques to move you toward mastery of this subject.

Understanding and Overcoming Obstacles in Your Life
By Sandra Sea
What is your obstacle or limitation? It may be money/debt, education, limited/few opportunities, physical/mental challenges, haunting of your past, etc.
Remember, you will never be able to control other people. No matter what you say or do people will always act how they want. So, it is important for you to react appropriately to the situation. The truth is you can't always control what happens to you. For example, you can be the safest driver, but another driver may not and a collision occurs.
Are you still holding onto negative thoughts and feelings inside? You have two choices to be positive or be negative. Realize you can do nothing about your past. That is a fact. Stop beating yourself up and make up in your mind to start anew. Do not allow your past to control your future.
Realize everyone has limitations of some type. It may be lack of finances, lack of education or physical/mental challenges. Never let anyone place limits on your life. There are many ways to overcome limitations and become successful. It is important to know what you are cable of and work towards attainable goals.
The hurt you have experienced whether physical or mental can be dealt with directly. You have to be solely responsible to overcome the issue and move beyond it. Make up in your mind that in order to move forward, be content with your life and be the success that you are, you have to fight and conquer the obstacle. Take care of "you" before you try to assist someone else.
You are in control of your actions. So, choose to take the positive approach to any obstacle. Again, it is how you respond that counts.
Ponder on the following:
1. Keep a journal. Set-up goals and develop milestones to move beyond your obstacles.
2. Do not retaliate or blame others. It is counter productive to success and emotional healing.
3. Do not harbor resentment or anger. You are only punishing yourself.
4. Do not let anyone have control over your life. They have no right to do so.
5. Accept that there is an obstacle that needs addressed.
6. When you require assistance, follow through the proper procedures and/or seek advice from an expert whether it is legal, financial, mental or physical.
