''Tidak selamanya pergantian keadaan menuju ke arah lebih baik. Sekali pun yang datang krisis, sejumlah lowongan peluang dan pilihan tetap menyertainya,'' kata chief operating officer-nya.
Ambil contoh ketika terjebak kemacetan lalu lintas Jakarta. Apa yang dapat Anda lakukan kalau berada dalam situasi menjemukan itu? Dia mempunyai rumusan baru menjalankan bisnis konsultannya dengan sokongan teknologi, yakni 3F: fast, focus dan flexible. Sehingga, dari setiap tempat dia dapat bekerja dan berkomunikasi dengan mitra bisnis.
Dengan rumusan tersebut dia mengaku sedang menjadikan dirinya sebuah merek atau citra. Maksud saya, semua itu ujung-ujungnya berupa pemutusan hubungan kerja (PHK) sejumlah karyawan dengan segala konsekuensi ke penghidupan banyak keluarga.
Kembali ke awal pembicaraan kita, mereka yang terkena PHK berarti menemui perubahan berupa krisis. Artinya, mereka sesungguhnya bukan mengalami petaka tapi menjadi memiliki banyak lowongan peluang dan lowongan pilihan mau bagaimana di kemudian hari.

Jika perlu ganti logo, gaya komunikasi, ganti disain ruang kerja dan alat kerja yang sudah ketinggalan jaman. Yang penting, terus mampu bersaing dan mampu beradaptasi dengan gencarnya perubahan. Nah, Anda dapat melihat sendiri belakangan ini bermunculan nama dan logo baru di sekitar kita. Ada toko obat, yang namanya begitu melekat, sekarang tampil dengan warna cerah dan masa kini. Sesungguhnya mereka ingin memperlihatkan kepada kita bahwa mereka tetap mampu bersaing, tetap berdaya, dan masih pas dengan masa kini. Begitulah mestinya diri kita. Jangan sampai kalah bersaing karena menghindari perubahan dan tidak melihat lowongan peluang.

Q: When did you start writing?
A: I have always been writing little bits of everything, such as lyrics for songs and stories for comics, but it was in the 70s that I took it more seriously, when I started working as an EFL teacher. I first created picture grammar books for my younger students and then lowongan vocabulary picture books. At that time I used an old typewriter, and my own illustrations in pen and colored pencils. But years later, I started writing more extensively, mainly short lowongan articles and short stories. After completing a Creative Writing Course, in the 90s, I became more lowongan persistent and I created my first book, an illustrated children s story. Q: What motivates you to write a piece?
A: Actually, anything can incite a new story. I observe things and people around me and I may come up with a new idea at any moment. Sometimes, I have my best ideas when I go to bed at night.
