There's Never a Right Time
By Tim Connor
The right time is now.
Why do people wait for what they feel will be the perfect time or circumstances before making changes in their life that could ensure peace, happiness and contentment? Is it fear; the lure of uncertainty, the lack of self-trust that they can handle whatever life gives them?
I have waited and waited for what I thought would be the ideal time before making a change until one day it dawned on me that now was the right time, that tomorrow is always uncertain and that whether waiting or acting there are always unknowns. Life will never be, let me repeat, life will never be exactly the picture you drew when you were young or when you were happy, when you were wanting something better or hoping that life would finally give you what you wanted or felt you deserved.
Waiting only wastes precious time. Waiting for that perfect time or just the right circumstances when; you have enough money, you are healthier, your career is secure or the weather is right. There are no perfect times for any decision or action.
If you are waiting to start a relationship, have your first child or leave a relationship the time to act is now because no one can guarantee that tomorrow will be right, perfect or better than today. I know I
know, if you had plenty of money in the bank and felt sure of your future you would ask that all important question or pack up your stuff and leave.
Waiting wastes life. Waiting puts off what could be and waiting is a senseless activity when no one can ever be assured that tomorrow will be better. Yes, it might be but it could also be worse. Of course this all depends on how you choose to define better or worse.
A couple of years ago I made a decision to change my life. I had waited for several years hoping things would get better or the time would be right but they only got worse as time passed. So I waited for the right time to begin again. And I waited. Then it hit me right between the eyes, that I had no idea how much time I have left in this world and to continue to wait was to waste precious minutes of life. So I moved on.
Regrets? Yes. One, that I didn't do it sooner and waited too long wasting hours and days that could have been better spent. I know a lot of people who are waiting to begin or end something and they too are waiting. Why? What are you waiting for? Do you really believe that with just the passage of time things will get better? I only have to remind you that during the past several months many people who waited to take that special vacation may now never get to take it due to the shrinkage of their net worth or career situation.
Waiting serves no useful purpose. However, please keep in mind that I am not suggesting that patience and trust are not valuable assets. There is a big difference between marking time when you know you should begin or end something and having patience to wait for something better. Waiting is not the same as patience. Waiting is hoping while feeling that you have no control over some of the circumstances. Patience is waiting while acting.
What are you waiting for to begin or end something, anything?

Motivational Blocks
By Bryan Appleton
What are motivational blocks?
They are simply limiting ideas or thoughts or even habits that you may have that easily take away from whatever motivations that you may have and keep you from living your life at the highest level that you can and that you deserve. We all have these limitations and the ability to get past them is one of the keys to really achieving bigger and better things in our lives.
Many people will instantly recognize that the television can be one of these motivational blocks. When we come home from work, we may have a plan that we are excited about working, but the minute the television goes on, we instantly feel drained of our energies and wind up watching show after show and putting off what we really could be doing.
WHAT ARE YOUR MOTIVATIONAL BLOCKS?
Like I said, we all have these in our lives. For some, it may be that television or the internet. For others, it may be the influence of negative people that we have and listen to in our lives. Whatever it may be for you, the first step is to identify what they may be. From there, you can begin to formulate a pan to eliminate these blocks so that you can become more productive or more active at pursuing the things that you should be doing.
If you were to eliminate 1 hour of idle time every single day, you would gain over 360 hours a year. How much could you achieve in those 360 hours?

Hiring a Motivational Speaker - How it Can Help Your Business
By Hank Mills
If you have ever attended a workshop or meeting where a motivational speaker addressed the crowd, you know just how motivating their speeches can be. The goal of such speeches is to offer support and encouragement with regard to work, home, or relationship issues. For businesses however, hiring a speaker to address your employees can solve many workplace issues. While it can be costly to bring someone in for a seminar, the benefits can greatly outweigh any cost.
- Increase Positive Thinking - Particularly in sales driven businesses, it is easy for workers to fall into a rut. The overall attitude in the department turns negative with the bad attitude of just one employee. Salesman and women often need extra encouragement and support to make it through the slow times. Listening to a motivational speech can recharge and energize these workers and give them a more positive frame of mind.
- Look at Things in a New Light - If your employees are looking at a new work process or specific productivity guidelines as a burden, a speaker may be able to help. A motivational talk can give employees a new perspective, helping them to look at challenges and obstacles in a new light, and easing their discomfort with them.
- Overcome Obstacles and Fears - Motivational speeches are not only great for encouragement, but problem solving as well. Not only will employees see challenges differently, but they can learn new ways to approach and conquer them. Your employees may be in a rut simply because of the fear they cannot succeed at your expectations. Speakers can help release the fears by showing your employees how they can meet goals in ways they may have not thought of before.
Think of bringing in a motivational speaker for your employees as an investment in your business. The cost of hiring a speaker will be paid for in no time. With new found eagerness and a boost of confidence, they will be well on their way to bringing in more sales and more profit. Chances are you will also have the added benefit of a more positive and uplifting working atmosphere.
